Rare Unrestored 1958 CORVETTE in beautiful condition throughout, runs like new. This is a numbers matching recipient of the Millenium Bloomington Gold "SURVIVOR" / Silver certified + NCRS 3 Star & Regional Top Flight awards; winning all these awards is an unbelievable feat most cars cannot achieve. I left the Arizona dust on the undercarrage, I didn't want to try to hide any imperfections. This car is what it is, a very well cared for , driven enough to keep her spry. Any buyer should drive to appreciate this 1958. Owner & judging history from NCRS 1958 Corvette Judging Team Leader Tim Mickey, who was kind enough to provide me with added research on the history of this very special "SURVIVOR"; that's what makes this car so special. Retiring the car from shows when purchased in 2004, I went through all the scoring sheets. I found only 3 parts that were not born on, or missing on this car. (One)it had the large "002" master cylinder, I found the correct small "002" & replaced it.(Two) It had an incorrect water pump, I replaced it with the correct # 3736493.(THREE) it had no exhaust, it all has been replaced & would Top Flight tomorrow. This vehicle is Documented with original dealer delivery & 1000 mile coupon to the first owner. Owners manual, post card, show room brochure, radio(works)instructions, Delco battery warranty & window sticker. Original trunk mat, spare tire jack, crank handle, lug wrench. Less than 245 Regal Turquoise with white coves/charcoal interior were made, I'm sure the powerglide makes it more rare. A Binder with photos of casting numbers & scoring sheets. NCRS scores car 95.4. Never hit body, a true pedigree. In an email from NCRS National Judging Chairman Roy Sinor, he tells me to "be extremely careful in your preservation of this car, it is very valuable & "likely to be the only one in the country". Every part I had to take off this car has been saved, except the exhaust, it had a piece of an old thrush muffler. I have all the belts, hoses & replaced them with all date coded, correct ones. The originals can be put back on for shows. I drive this car every Sunday to get the paper, when it gets to 1/2 tank, I put 111 octane fuel, then take it on the 101 & BLOW IT OUT ! It had 66,000 miles when I bought it in 2004, it now has 72,000. I have added some more photos. We just found the #'s on the drive shaft. On the side of the block between the freeze out plugs you can see a GM inspector yellow crayon D-J. Yellow/green GM inspector marks on rear end. Under the dash on heater box is a white #12. The saying goes, "they are only original once", this one may be the best 58 original in the country. I will put the original radiator & water pump & bias tires back on car if the new owner wants the car in it's show condition. Illness forces this sale. I hope a collector or museum will take this car, treat her as all of us that have had the pleasure to own her in the past, you will not be disappointed. The 90K price for this car is for it in it's original condition. All extra parts are neg. I have added a few more pictures, if you enlarge the flywheel you will see a yellow crayon mark as if it was put on today upper left side.Also the pictures show some of the parts from the inside of the powerglide. Tri-City Transmission in Arizona said that it reflects the mileage on this car. They were so surprised they had to take pictures. I'm sorry I couldn't hold my camera still enough to show the Corvette Owner pin clear. That pin came with the owners packet when new, it's still in it's original box.
