1954 Convertible Engine: 235, unknown Miles, Color: White with Red interior.
Welcome to THE VETTE NET, your modern destination for buying and selling your Corvette. We are a Nationwide and International Corvette Brokerage Network, in business since 1998 and Lifetime Business Member #991 of the National Corvette Museum. Corvette made history at its inception with the 1953 model with only 300 produced, all in White. The next model year became a regular production car at the newly renovated plant in St. Louis MO where 3640 fine examples were produced. It was pretty much a carry-over from the previous year, the main difference being the ability to chose between four colors (Polo White, Sportsman Red, Pennant Blue or Black). We are pleased to bring to your attention a special model from this vintage which is in great condition, a very nice and complete car, which appears to have correct numbers. Like with all these old cars, the engine and carbs will likely need some tune-up help to get it in proper working order Undercarriage is detailed with no signs of any damage. Interior is correct, fresh and complete. Dash, gauges all work. This is your chance to secure a very early Corvette, the next best thing after the highly sought 53s without breaking the bank. There is also an upward trend for this vintage according to Hagerty's Price Guide as seen here which places a value of $80,500.00 for a #2 condition car. Located in FLORIDA, we can arrange with delivery nationwide and international. Corvette trades are considered, also, financing is available. For more details, please contact anytime Ken at 866-838-8363 (866-VETTENET - toll free) or email Ken@TheVetteNet.com. In business since 1998, THE VETTE NET (on the Net at www.TheVetteNet.com) has established itself as the premier source for buying, selling and leasing Corvettes, with thousand of enthusiasts assisted nationwide and international. It is almost impossible to overstate the position of the 1958 model in the hearts of the Corvette enthusiasts... Being the fifth year of Corvettes, the 1958 came with a nice and attractive re-design, also with some cool visuals that were available only for that year like the quad headlamps, washboard hood and the trunk spears. Paint is excellent condition, soft top is very good condition with only a few tears as indicated in the pics. Interior is very nice and appears freshened up, door panels, seat covers, carpet being in better than average condition. Chrome parts look very good with no immediate need of upgrade. Welcome to THE VETTE NET, your modern destination for buying and selling your Corvette. We are a Nationwide and International Corvette Brokerage Network, in business since 1998 and Lifetime Business Member #991 of the National Corvette Museum. We define ourselves as an interface between enthusiasts, assisting with "adoptions" of these very special automobiles, America's (only) Sports cars... It is almost impossible to overstate the position of the 1958 model in the hearts of the Corvette enthusiasts... Being the fifth year of Corvettes, the 1958 came with a nice and attractive re-design, also with some cool features that were available only for that year like the washboard hood and the trunk spears. Combine this with the dual round headlamps and other new features, then add the classy Signed Red with the White coves and you have a WINNER! That is exactly our offer today! A beautifully off-frame restored 1958, with the desirable 283/270 HP dual-four matching numbers combination. Actual owner of the Vette was a NCRS judge who aquired it twenty-some years ago when it put it through a thorough off-frame restoration where car was taken apart to every nut and bolt and put back together right. All this is documented with pics and records, also seen the attached video. To start, the body was taken off the frame, put on a cart and sent to the body shop while the frame was restored. Body was stripped to fiber glass, primed with an epoxy primer, then shot with six coats of Acrylic laquer paint, then three coats of clear coat. All Chrome was triple plated and has a perfect mirror look. Engine is the correct 3737739 block with the correct F710CU suffix stamped on the engine block signifying as follows: F = Flint Plant, 710 = July 10th production, CU 283/270 HP correct rating. Car was produced August 1958, sequence # 9072. Every nut, bolt and washer was out of the engine, transmission, rear, the put back together. Carburetor is correct, manifolds are correct... It got new wiring harness, new exhaust, new brakes, new drums, all new springs, complete new suspension (2001), Wiper mechanism was restored. Tires are new with less than 1000 miles. Transmission is a correct Borg-Warner Aluminum T-10. Interior is new, carpet is new, dash is restored, AM Wonderbar radio is functional (has FM too), clock works... Has a stylish upgraded steering wheel, also, the original one is available, needing restoration. All is in working order with the exception of the gas gauge (may need a sending unit), also the tachometer is broken. This is a very fine example of a very desirable 1958 Corvette with the high HP rating, restored to a very high degree, featuring the most desirable color combination. It is definitely a collectible today with great appreciation potential. Located in FLORIDA, we can arrange delivery nationwide and all over the world. 1958 Convertible Engine: 283, 1000 Miles, Color: Ermine White with Black interior.
THE VETTE NET, Nationwide and International Corvette Brokerage Network, proud Lifetime Business Member of the National Corvette Museum We define ourselves as an interface between enthusiasts, assisting with "adoptions" of these very special automobiles, America's (only) Sports cars... In our quest to bring to your attention special Corvettes, we are pleased to present one of the most iconic and desirable model, the one and only, 1958! With unique looks, one year appeal and milestone status, this Corvette is very sought after by enthusiasts and collectors alike. Our offer today is a fine example of this vintage which was meticulously off-frame restored to "better than new" quality, the result being a classic car brought to modern technological standards, but with ultimate respect to originality. Present owner had it since 1975, so, for 40 years he gave it a lot of love and attention, also can attest to what was done. Whenever possible, original or NOS parts were used. Only 1000 miles were put on the car since restoration. First of all, it got a quality base coat/clear coat paintjob in the original Ermine White with Sateen Silver coves. Body was stripped to bare fiberglass showing no evidence of major collision. Minor repairs were made in the typical crack prone areas. Front nose (center of headlights down) was replaced with NOS part due to customization sometime in the past. Nose was separated at factory bonding strips and correctly reassembled. New Al Knock interior is present. The original 283, dual barrel engine, rated at 245 HP was rebuilt to 100% stock configuration. Carburetors were replated and rebuilt, intake manifold cleaned to original appearance, all other parts painted correctly... The original T-10 4 speed manual transmission was rebuilt to stock configuration, except that it has later T-10 side covers with reinforced ribs and shifter bosses. Positraction rear axle ratio is rated at 3.70. Suspension is original and rebuilt to original specs. Exhaust was replaced with stock reproduction parts from Corvette Central. All brakes rebuilt to stock configuration. Original wheel cylinders and master cylinder have been SS sleeved. System has silicone brake fluid. Steering also rebuilt, gear filled with CV joint grease. Being a West Coast car, the frame had no rust, it was sandblasted then correctly painted. Factory options include (in addition to the 283/245 engine and the 4-speed manual transmission): • heater • Wonderbar radio • courtesy lights • windshield washer • 6.70 x 15 Whitewall tires • auxiliary hard top (in place of soft top) • two-tone exterior paint • positraction rear axle 3.70 In addition, several aftermarket add-ons: Mylar clear strip between hard top and folding top lid to protect paint, floor mats in Daytona weave with Corvette logo to match carpet. Car is shown regularly and wins awards everywhere... This is your chance to treat yourself with a classic alive with great appeal and appreciation potential... Let's not forget that it is completely restored, highly optioned and in perfect shape... Plus, it is a 1958! Corvette trades are entertained, nationwide and worldwide delivery provided if necessary.
