Numbers matching 340hp 327ci engine, 4 speed manual transmission. This midyear shows a body assembly date of July 5, 1963, and is in fantastic shape. Paint looks to be newer lacquer, with a few very minor chips that can be easily touched up, but no apparent cracking and no scratches. Orange peel is nearly non-existent. Nice rust free frame as you would expect from Buyavette. Convertible top is newer and in great shape with no rips or tears and a clear window. A weatherstripping kit is recommended as the original is showing normal wear. Period-correct hubcaps are present, and in excellent condition with no pitting or scratches and miles of shine. Tires are whitewall radials and show nearly full tread. Chrome bumpers appear to be newer and show great. Exterior door handles look to be original. Tail lights are in good shape with no cracks or breaks; car still has an original T-3 headlight. The interior on this '63 is particularly nice, featuring excellent restored gauges and a working quartz movement clock. Steering wheel is correct and in good shape. Seat covers look good and are original style. Correct loop carpet is showing little to no fading. Dash pad is very nice and original. Door panels look great with no apparent problems. The most obvious wear area on the interior is probably the shifter/console trim plate, which has its share of scratches and a few light dings as well; replacements are available for around $25. Engine compartment is relatively clean, showing correct finned valve covers. A 4bbl Holley carburetor with electric choke delivers the fuel and air for this C2. As far as performance modifications go, this car appears to be stock with the exception of a vintage Hurst shifter. Overall, this is an excellent midyear 'vert needing only some minor deals to be show-ready! Factory features include optional 340hp engine 1 of 6,978 RARE power windows (1 of 3,742), AM/FM radio. Numbers matching 365hp 327ci engine, 4 speed manual transmission. This is a fantastic looking and driving midyear, finished in a classic color combination! Additionally, we have been told that this car received a body-off restoration in 2002. The paint is excellent, with only one small but noticeable touchup on the passenger quarter panel. Four metal plugs appear on the rear deck, leading us to believe that this car might have had a luggage rack or other similar device at one point. Trim plate shows a paint code of 912 and STD interior trim code. The convertible top is recent, and is in great shape with just some light haze in the window. The chrome bumpers also look to be newer and are in great shape as well. Driver's chrome door handle is excellent, although the passenger's side does show some light pitting. Weather stripping is older and is somewhat brittle, but is nonetheless mostly intact. Reproduction knockoffs show some light haze and pitting on the spinners but otherwise look great with Michelin Roadhandler radial tires showing about 50% treadwear remaining. Tail lights are in good shape with no cracks. The inside of this car is as nice as the outside; correct loop carpet looks to be new, showing no apparent wear, and is protected by a set of C6 logo floor mats. Gauges are also excellent with clear lenses and bright needles and only the redline showing some minor fading. Clock is not working at this time. Dash pad is also in great shape with no cracks, and the seat covers look newer as well. Door panels are in similar condition, although there is a scuff at the top of the passenger's side. Shifter plate shows some chipping in the finish, but otherwise the center console has help up nicely. The engine compartment is relatively clean, and we have also been told that the engine was rebuilt roughly 100 miles ago. Ignition shielding is currently missing. A Holley carburetor delivers the fuel in this case. This is a great car that will definitely stick out at your next Corvette gathering! Factory features include power brakes, and AM/FM radio. Another incredible value on a midyear! Showing a body assembly date of December 18, 1964, this 65 roadster looks, runs, and drives great! The trim tag shows paint code MM; the paint on the car is overall good with minimal scratches and imperfections. However, this Vette can be taken back to its original color, or any other color (except black) for an additional $5,000. Chrome bumpers are particularly nice, and look to be newer with no pitting or swirling, and certainly no rust or dings. The door handles look like they might possibly be original, but function very well and show no pitting or other imperfections. Weatherstripping is overall good, and 3 out of the 4 tailights are in excellent shape. This Vette wears rally wheels with a set of '66 style Corvette wheel covers, which are in great shape with minimal pitting. Tires are radials, and show almost full tread. Additionally, the convertible top looks very nice with no rips or tears, and also shows a clear window. The interior of this midyear is just as nice as the outside, with excellent seat covers and what look to be very recent (if not new) door panels. Steering wheel looks to be original and is free from any cracking. The dash pad is excellent as well, and the gauges are in good condition for being original. Of course, the clock is not working at this time. Another nice feature of this midyear is the fact that it still retains its factory seatbelts, unlike many other midyears we see with incorrect seatbelts that are a mile long and look like they belong in a 1980s Volvo. Carpet is of the correct loop variety, appearing in very good condition with no apparent fading. Showing an assembly date of December 14, 1964, the engine in this midyear sports a set of Hooker Competition stainless steel longtube headers, which connect to Flowmaster mufflers for an incredible sound. This Vette also features a correct intake and a Holley 4 bbl carb, which is stamped "3559". Front control arms and bushings look to have been replaced recently as well. The frame on this Vette is nice and clean, as with all our Vettes. Hurry before this value disappears! Factory features include 4 speed transmission, power antenna.
