Numbers matching 365hp 327ci engine, 4 speed manual transmission. This is a fantastic looking and driving midyear, finished in a classic color combination! Additionally, we have been told that this car received a body-off restoration in 2002. The paint is excellent, with only one small but noticeable touchup on the passenger quarter panel. Four metal plugs appear on the rear deck, leading us to believe that this car might have had a luggage rack or other similar device at one point. Trim plate shows a paint code of 912 and STD interior trim code. The convertible top is recent, and is in great shape with just some light haze in the window. The chrome bumpers also look to be newer and are in great shape as well. Driver's chrome door handle is excellent, although the passenger's side does show some light pitting. Weather stripping is older and is somewhat brittle, but is nonetheless mostly intact. Reproduction knockoffs show some light haze and pitting on the spinners but otherwise look great with Michelin Roadhandler radial tires showing about 50% treadwear remaining. Tail lights are in good shape with no cracks. The inside of this car is as nice as the outside; correct loop carpet looks to be new, showing no apparent wear, and is protected by a set of C6 logo floor mats. Gauges are also excellent with clear lenses and bright needles and only the redline showing some minor fading. Clock is not working at this time. Dash pad is also in great shape with no cracks, and the seat covers look newer as well. Door panels are in similar condition, although there is a scuff at the top of the passenger's side. Shifter plate shows some chipping in the finish, but otherwise the center console has help up nicely. The engine compartment is relatively clean, and we have also been told that the engine was rebuilt roughly 100 miles ago. Ignition shielding is currently missing. A Holley carburetor delivers the fuel in this case. This is a great car that will definitely stick out at your next Corvette gathering! Factory features include power brakes, and AM/FM radio.
