We are pleased to bring to your attention a great value, the last of the second generation, the Sting Ray (two words, later called C2), a very nice 1967 with a lot of potential. You are looking at a Triple Black Convertible with the standard 327/300 engine mated with the manual transmission, also optioned with side pipes, reproduction knock-off wheels, hard top, a Big Block hood, also the original hood.
According to seller, the engine has the correct VIN and suffix stamped on the engine pad and it can be safely assumed it is matching numbers. It does however have an upgraded Edelbrock intake, but all else appears correct. Engine starts right away, exhibits lots of power, does not smoke and performs as it should. Tranny is tight and crisp.
It has new brakes: new calipers, new hoses, new J-lines, new pads, master cylinder... pretty much all the system. It has a new gas tank, new sending unit, all gages work, except clock... Radio works! Headlights work (high beam blue dash indicator works). The knock-off wheels were just fitted with a new set of Redline tires recreating the original look and feel.
Did we mentioned you will have the factory hard top? Also, as seen in pics, right now it is equipped with a Big Block Stinger hood, and the original one is available too. Notice that the original color of the car was Nassau Blue. We'd describe this Vette as a "enjoy it now and gradually restore it later", as it is all there, in great working order, complete and with lots of extras. Paint is older and shows wear, interior is decent shape with the driver seat needing immediate attention, Chrome is complete with no pitting or rust, undercarriage is clean and it appears that the rubber parts are in good condition.
What else can we say, other than it is a 67, the most desirable classic Corvette. Corvette trades are entertained, nationwide and worldwide delivery provided if necessary.
