| Comments: | PRICE REDUCED @ 1MAR13!! Original Pace Car paint and graphics exterior, Black/Silver, Pace Car Silver Leather interior, Factory Mirror Glass (M1131 Blue) T-tops with original Pace Car Silver Brick Design Naugahyde storage pouches. Unit number 258 of the 6052 Pace Car replicas, with numbers matching L-48, freshly serviced TH-350 A/T, and 3.00:1 positraction, all completely stock and original to the car. Some chrome dress-up items and finned aluminum valve covers have been added in the engine room. Those may have been stock for the Pace Car, but I haven’t researched that as yet. This car is equipped with rear window defogger, power everything (except seats), A/C (r134a converted), tilt/telescoping steering wheel, delay courtesy lights and wipers, original toss-in floor mats, and AM/FM Citizen's Band radio option. Most of those items were included in what they called the “Convenience Package”. With slightly over 38K miles, it includes the original owner’s manual, assembly instruction manual, and fitted cover. I bought it on October 3, 2012 as an investment. I find nice, easy ones (no body work to do) and then sort out all the vacuum and electrical quirks that the last owner was afraid to tackle. He is an older local fellow who had the car for nine years, but logged only 600 miles in that time. This car is a garage kept "pampered darling" and is now in turn-key condition. I have gone through everything, short of frame off, and corrected all that didn’t suit me. The car now drives and functions as good as it looks. It has all new shocks, new master cylinder, thermostat, several new electrical and vacuum relays and switches, fresh oil, filter, lube, and all new brake and P/S fluids. The original Quadrajet has been completely rebuilt and the entire ignition system (cap, rotor, wires, and plugs) is new. It's been recently aligned all around on 4 matched Good Year Eagle GT II tires with 85% tread remaining. Everything on this car works, right down to the clock and alarm system (including the T-top alarms!). A fairly recent Optima battery powers it up every time. This car may have been repainted about 10 years ago (as most 35 year old ‘Vettes have been) and was very professionally done. This is easily a 5-10 footer that gets a lot of thumbs up when being driven, and draws a crowd of “lookers” when parked! Please know that I am a dedicated restorer, not an amateur, I won’t ever advertise anything until I am sure that the car is ready for the next owner and holds no surprises. I can e-mail you a spreadsheet of all the new parts and labor if you'd like. Appraised for full insurance at $22,000, it's priced at $19,500 or REASONABLE offer. Will consider trades for ‘60s muscle cars or ‘60s mid-full sized 2 door hardtops or convertibles. This is indeed a really nice one to drive and show!! I'm known as "Uncle Maddog" on the Corvette Forum and Corvette Action Center. Feel free to call or e-mail. Thanks!!
