1969 Convertible Engine: 350 L46, unknown Miles, Color: Riverside Gold with Black interior.
THE VETTE NET is a Nationwide and International Corvette Brokerage Network, proud Lifetime Business Member #991 of the National Corvette Museum. 1969 was a very special for Corvettes. After the hastily introduced 1968 model, the 1969 came out strong and started a successful generation, later dubbed the C3, the third generation of Corvettes. Needless to say, the 1969 model is the most desirable "Bumper car" and it is sought both by collectors and enthusiasts alike for its unique appeal. When you couple it with options like Convertible, high horse power small block, 4 speed, snazzy color combinations, outstanding restoration... you come out with a winner. This is what we are offering you today: a rare Riverside Gold Convertible with the matching numbers L46 350 engine rated at 350 HP, mated with the M21 4-speed manual transmission. A thorough off-frame restoration was just completed and basically every part was replaced with new, or reconditioned. The correct Riverside Gold RPO 980 paint was applied February 2013. It is a quality PPG, base coat, clear coat which shines as it should. Interior is the correct ZQ4 - black vinyl with new carpet, new seat covers, original door panels renewed, all new functional gauges, new lenses, etc. AZ code rims, not correct dated, though. Engine, freshly rebuilt, has the matching numbers (VIN and suffix), L46 350/350 11:1 compression, bored 30 over, 186 camel hump heads, 493 distributor, 9207 QuadraJet carburetor, ram horn exhaust manifold, new 2.5" exhaust all the way back. M-21 4 speed tranny rebuilt locally is period correct, 3.36 rear end with positraction and correct differential. All new bushings, bearings, rotors, brakes, rebuilt calipers, new lines, new hydraulic master cylinder with bleeders. New LOF windshield, new Al Knoch convertible top and lot more... Only a few miles were added since the restoration, so it is practically a "brand new" classic. The only difference from the "stock look" of the time is a Chrome mirror installed on the passenger side, after the pics were taken. Feel free to peruse the extensive album about the restoration and note the attention to details and dedication to authenticity. It is hard to duplicate such a restoration and the asking price alone will not even cover it, let alone the car to start with. 1969 Convertible Engine: 427, 72,609 showing Miles, Color: Tuxedo Black with Tan interior.
Welcome to TheVetteNet.com, the best destination for buying or selling your Corvette. We are a Nationwide and International Corvette Brokerage Network, in business since 1998 and Lifetime Business Member #991 of the National Corvette Museum. The story on this 1969 Corvette Stingray convertible? Well, it’s one of those clean, honest cars that doesn't require cubic dollars to purchase yet delivers a high-quality pedigree that certainly adds to the ownership experience with a big block 427, a great color combination, and a original equipment Muncie 4-speed transmission. Even after 45 years, the C3 shape remains one of the most attractive in the entire automotive kingdom. For many, the earliest C3s are the best of the bunch with their chrome bumpers and hidden windshield wipers. Tuxedo Black makes this sleek 'Vette look period perfect, and it's repaint is in great condition. This one has the correct vented big block hood with '427' callouts. The tan interior and Tuxedo Black paint are a very desirable combination with a few well-chosen options. The interior is completely restored including the leather upgraded seat covers and carpets, which gives it a polished, high-quality look. The original gauges are remarkably clear and bright. An aftermarket AM-FM radio delivers decent sound and the cool fiber-optic lamp monitors are always fascinating for first-time Corvette owners. The new black vinyl folding convertible top stows neatly under the rear deck. The 427 cubic inch L36 V8 appears to be the original, matching-numbers engine and makes a substantial 390 plus horsepower. The Engine had a professional rebuild in 2011, which included boring of block, new rods installed and a camshaft upgrade. There's also a lot of original componentry that still works and looks great. Long tube headers were replaced with the factory exhaust manifolds so there are no ground clearance issues. The 4-speed transmission makes this big block Vette so much fun to drive. Rally wheels with relatively recent 255/60/15 radials mean the car rides and handles well with a traditional Corvette look. This car was purchased by the seller in 2006, and the frame-on restoration was completed in 2011. Since the restoration was completed it has been driven approximately 2500 miles. Any Corvette with a 427 is special, and this brilliant ragtop with its matching-numbers engine and 4-speed transmission, is a fun, flashy Corvette with a great pedigree. 1969 Convertible Engine: 427, Unknown Miles, Color: Monza Red with Black interior.
Welcome to THE VETTE NET, your modern destination for buying and selling your Corvette. We are a Nationwide and International Corvette Brokerage Network, in business since 1998 and Lifetime Business Member #991 of the National Corvette Museum. It is very hard not to get excited when you see a Red Corvette... Add 69 model year and the 427 engine and you have something very special. Our offer today is just that, probably the most iconic (after the 63 Split Window Coupe, of course) and desirable Corvette, a 1969 Corvette Convertible with the matching numbers 427 engine rated at 390 HP. This fine example has sustained a thorough off-frame restoration, according to the seller. Everything appears to have been addressed: new paint, new interior, new exhaust, new bushings, new suspension, new tiers. Frame is in excellent condition, doors line up at they should. Some documentation and receipts are available. Engine was rebuilt about 5K miles ago and has the VIN and correct suffix "LM" stamped on it which indicates matching numbers. LM signifies 427/390 with manual transmission. Indeed, car was born with manual transmission, but later in life was converted to a Turbo 400 Automatic transmission. Power steering, power brakes, power windows are present and functional. Engine compartment is nicely detailed and it benefited from an upgraded Aluminum radiator, very useful to cool a Big Block engine in any climate. Interior looks new and all is complete. All gauges work, except clock... An upgraded stereo fits nicely in the dash. Paint looks like new with no noticeable imperfections. It is the correct Monza Red according to the code "974" on the trim tag. The original Big Block hood was replaced by a L88 Big Block hood adding a mild custom look. This is a fine example of a moderately priced desired classic with great appreciation potential according to Hagerty's Price Guide as seen here, needing nothing but a new home. Located in FLORIDA, we can arrange delivery nationwide and international. Corvette trades are considered, also, financing is available.
