Assembled on August 21, 1969, this gorgeous and rare Red/Red big block convertible has just completed a very extensive body-on restoration, and is ready to show! Paint on this car is excellent and looks to be very recent -- we were unable to find any flaws! Convertible top is brand new, showing no apparent flaws. Chrome front bumper looks to possibly be original, and is in very good condition; rears appear to be brand new and are excellent. Chrome exterior door handles and weatherstripping are new as well, and the taillights are in excellent condition with no cracks. Rally wheels are in very good condition, and wear new trim rings and center caps. These wheels ride on BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter tires, which appear to have roughly 95% treadlife remaining. The interior of this 1969 Corvette Big Block Convertible is just as nice as the outside, with new seat covers/foam, carpet, dash pad, seatbelts, and door panels. Gauges show little to no fading but slightly dull lenses; steering wheel and center console are in very good condition as well, and amazingly, most of the fiber optics system seems to be working, in addition to the clock. An AM/FM digital stereo has been added in the original location, and a Sirius satellite receiver is located in the rear storage area, in addition to a pair of Pioneer 6x9 speakers. The engine compartment in this car has been nicely detailed, and features a chrome alternator and water outlet, as well as billet aluminum pulleys, an aluminum radiator, Edelbrock Torker II intake manifold, a set of coated longtube headers, and a Holley carburetor. Frame is well-detailed, solid, and rust-free. A restoration of this quality can cost upwards of $60,000, not including the price of the car itself -- this is a real head turner that is ready to show or drive and enjoy at a very affordable price, call us before this one's gone!
