Only 312 miles have been put on this car since a body-on restoration in 1997. This super-original big block convertible shows A.O. Smith assembly date November 1, 1965, and is LOADED with rare and desirable factory options including AIR CONDITIONING! Paint on this car is newer, and in very good condition, although it does show some minor blemishes beneath the surface in a few areas. Convertible top looks to be very recent and is in very good condition with no stains and a very good window. All side and vent glass on this car show correct date codes. Chrome bumpers look to be newer reproductions, and are in very good condition. A set of sidepipes have been added to this car, and sound great. Exterior door handles are also in very good condition with no finish or functional issues, and the taillights are very good as well with no cracks. Although this car does show the correct hardware on its tonneau cover for an auxiliary hardtop, the original top is long gone, although we can provide a matching hardtop for an additional $2,500. Weatherstripping looks to be older, but is mostly intact and in good condition. This 1967 Corvette 427/390 Convertible wears reproduction knockoff wheels in very good condition, and will have new reproduction goldline tires at the time of sale. The interior of this car shows good condition original leather seat covers, carpet, and gauges. Dash pad, door panels, center console, and RARE teakwood steering wheel are all in very good condition, and original GM seatbelts are in place as well. The original engine in this car shows assembly date September 30, 1965. These big block midyears are very frequently over-restored, and therefore it's very refreshing to see an engine bay like this that screams patina and originality. This engine bay shows correct and possibly original braided ignition wires, retainers and shielding, correct alternator, correct and very valuable early-1966 power brake master cylinder, and correct intake. Correct valve covers are also in place, showing older if not original paint and "IL" suffix decals. Holley carburetor shows casting number for a 1967 427/390hp car. Frame is solid and rust-free. This car comes with its original protect-o-plate, jack, and spare, as well as a reproduction window sticker and owner's manual. This one is sure not to last -- call us now while we still have it!
