Code correct Glen Green exterior with matching hardtop, code correct Green vinyl interior, Saddle convertible top. NOM 327ci engine, 4 speed manual transmission. Although it was one of the more common colors in its day, it is now getting harder to find these Green/Green midyear cars. We have been told that this car has had just two owners in its lifetime, the first having sold it around 1983. Additionally, this is an extremely original car that does not look to have ever received a full restoration. The paint is newer, but is not the best job; it has a good bit of orange peel and does not have a very deep shine to it. Nonetheless, it is mostly free from post-paint blemishes; there is one chip on the driver's rear corner of the car, and a small paint bubble just to the right of the middle of the rear decklid. Free from tears and rips, the convertible top is however older, and the window is now showing a good bit of haze. Door handles are not in bad shape, but are showing some light pitting and scratches. Although not physically broken, two out of the four tail lights show some cracking beneath the surface. Weather stripping is older and brittle as well. This midyear wears a set of 1966 style original wheel covers, now with a few small dings and some pitting on the spinners. An older set of off-brand tires shows about 60% tread left. The front chrome bumpers have some heavy scratches, the rears are in similar condition with some pitting as well. The correct loop carpet is in overall very good condition, although it is experiencing some minor fading. Steering wheel shows a split near the bottom, but is otherwise in good condition. Gauges are faded could use some lens polish as well. The original GM seatbelts are still in place, showing some fading in the stitching. Dash pad is in very nice shape with no cracks or splits. A piece of stainless trim has come unglued from the driver's door panel, but otherwise the panels are in good condition. Center console is also in good shape showing some dings and scratches in the shift plate. Clock is not working at this time. The seat covers are however in very nice presentable shape, and are only slightly faded. Ignition shielding is present under the hood, and the engine has been fitted with an Edelbrock carburetor featuring an electric choke. This would make a great weekend driver or a show winner with a little work! Factory options include power antenna, auxiliary hardtop, AM/FM radio. FREE 5 YEAR/100K WARRANTY!! $48,900 or 20% down with payments as low as $667/month. W.A.C. |
