Another incredible value on a midyear! Showing a body assembly date of December 18, 1964, this 65 roadster looks, runs, and drives great! The trim tag shows paint code MM; the paint on the car is overall good with minimal scratches and imperfections. However, this Vette can be taken back to its original color, or any other color (except black) for an additional $5,000. Chrome bumpers are particularly nice, and look to be newer with no pitting or swirling, and certainly no rust or dings. The door handles look like they might possibly be original, but function very well and show no pitting or other imperfections. Weatherstripping is overall good, and 3 out of the 4 tailights are in excellent shape. This Vette wears rally wheels with a set of '66 style Corvette wheel covers, which are in great shape with minimal pitting. Tires are radials, and show almost full tread. Additionally, the convertible top looks very nice with no rips or tears, and also shows a clear window. The interior of this midyear is just as nice as the outside, with excellent seat covers and what look to be very recent (if not new) door panels. Steering wheel looks to be original and is free from any cracking. The dash pad is excellent as well, and the gauges are in good condition for being original. Of course, the clock is not working at this time. Another nice feature of this midyear is the fact that it still retains its factory seatbelts, unlike many other midyears we see with incorrect seatbelts that are a mile long and look like they belong in a 1980s Volvo. Carpet is of the correct loop variety, appearing in very good condition with no apparent fading. Showing an assembly date of December 14, 1964, the engine in this midyear sports a set of Hooker Competition stainless steel longtube headers, which connect to Flowmaster mufflers for an incredible sound. This Vette also features a correct intake and a Holley 4 bbl carb, which is stamped "3559". Front control arms and bushings look to have been replaced recently as well. The frame on this Vette is nice and clean, as with all our Vettes. Hurry before this value disappears! Factory features include 4 speed transmission, power antenna.
