1968 T-Top
Engine: 427, 95,288 Miles, Color: Rally Red with Red interior.
Beautiful 1968 Rally Red on red T-Top with the unusual combination of the 400 HP 427 triple duce Holley carbureted Tri-Power mated with the 400 Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission. Matching number car that I've owned for 36 years. Always garaged, and well taken care of, this is a fine example of a 68 big block. Power brakes, power steering, AM/FM radio, 308 Positraction, and factory wheel covers as the build sheet reflects. Vacuum operated lights and wiper panel that actually work, and I did upgrade to leather seats. As you can see on the build sheet, all Tri-Power cars start out as a 390 HP 427 and get the 390 to 400 HP option added as they go down the line. The build sheets were glued to the top of the gas tank at the factory, and if they weren't found in time, they were lost. Many years ago I was able to recover this one just in time. Anyone looking for a numbers matching 1968 Tri-Power will be happy with this car.

1969 Convertible
Engine: 427, 70,000 Miles, Color: Red with Red interior.
I have owned this rare numbers matching 427 tri power for about 12 years. 70,000 original miles. Restored the interior, new glass, new chrome and the body and paint are near perfect. Never had interest in showing the vette but you certainly could. The previous owner had it for 26 years, it had a tick in the engine, and given his connections with GM, had it completely torn down and rebuilt at 40,000 miles in 1987. I had the transmission rebuilt about 5000 miles ago. I am particular about my cars so the suspension springs were changed, bushings etc. Mechanically it's like new. Always meticulously maintained and garaged. It's time for a new owner to enjoy. I will assist the buyer with shipping.

1970 T-Top
Engine: 350, 103,000 Miles, Color: Mulsanne Blue with Black interior.
This is an original numbers matching1970 Corvette. We took it to Bloomington Gold in 2010 to be judged as a Survivor, which the car did receive. The car is not as pretty as those that have been restored, but this one is, to the best of my knowledge, completely original. The judges at Bloomington Gold told me to do nothing to the car except for maintenance as needed. The car does have some "warts", but they are typical of what the cars had coming off the assembly line in 1970. 1970 was the lowest production year for Corvettes because of the strike. Only 6,508 convertibles were built and only 10,668 Coupes, bringing the total to 17,316. In 1968 38,762 were produced and in 1971 21,801 were produced. The car is equipped with a 350Cubic inches 300 HP engine, 380 lbs. ft Torque and 10,251 Comp Ratio. It has the fiber optics which lets you know if all lights are working. a Turbo-Hydra-Matic automatic transmission, AC, and power windows, power steering, power brakes and a tilt & telescopic steering wheel. We are the third owner. We bought it from a gentleman who bought it from his cousin, who bought it new. When we bought it the gentleman gave us a box with the original and records from the car. As I show in the pictures, the windshield has an area that is not right, but, as I have been told, was typical. The paint also has some "warts", but as with the windshield, the judges said all imperfections are typical of the way they came off the assembly line back in 1970. We bought the car in 2010 and have enjoyed it, but we are now 73 years old and it is time to sell the car.

1971 Convertible
Engine: 454, 73000 Miles, Color: White with Red interior.
Selling my 1971 Corvette convertible with LS5 454 CI, 365HP engine. Frame-off restoration. Runs and handles great. It is automatic with power brakes and power tilt/telescopic steering. Everything was either restored or replaced new. The chassis was sandblasted and powder coated, and all the fuel/brake lines/cables/clips were replaced with stainless steel. Everything was restored/replaced with better than original - too many to list. The engine was rebuilt by John's Cages; the rear end, springs, drive shafts and steering box were rebuilt by Fabulous Restorations (NCRS shop). Hundreds of pictures were taken of restoration. Car was appraised by a retired NCRS judge and given an excellent review. Good for another 50 + years. Selling because I have 2 vettes and don't get to drive them much. Someone else should enjoy this one. Will consider offering the other (1980) also if interested. Asking $42,000 obo.

More updates...2021 - new Holley Carb and new steering column, leather-wrapped steering wheel ordered and being put on. This is $2500 in parts and install. Paint is coming next and the price goes up yet again. Some photos are before and after photos. Link to recent upgrades list https://docs.google.com/document/d/1usHeKWtfAtGHUMlfvIxprQMsW1o1McEjC0-YSGSKaQs/edit?usp=sharing .............................Since originally posting this ad the following work has been done. A brand new a/c system has been put in and it is blowing ice cold air now. Chrome air cleaner, I have bought 2 interior door panels (they are not on now but yours). I have grinded all rust off the exterior of the frame of the entire car with the frame on. Then primed and painted it all black. This was not a frame off restoration of the frame. New fan shroud and fan painted black. Engine painted. New radiator. I also put on new valve covers as well. This car always starts up with some pumps of the gas pedal! It sounds amazing and purrs like a kitten. I worked on the still original engine first. It is solid and strong. This Vette is very strong mechanically and is reliable. I had the work done to it so it would be a strong runner and reliable. It has been fully tuned up with many maintenance items performed. I have a stack of papers with the work completed. It is primed and ready for paint. With new tires, brakes, shocks, gas tank, thermostat, one headlight actuator, window motors, side mirror, windshield, carpeting and so much more. The car seats and dash are original and are in super condition with one small crack in the dash. I have the original radio and emblems including new gas emblem to finish it off. I would drive this car 200 miles and not blink an eye. It never overheated and ran smoothly. I put in a new radio as well. Minor items needed but this vette to complete it. I sell with pride. Overall it runs amazing above everything else. That comes first. Don't be fooled by the outer appearance being primer. This is the one and running amazingly. Just needs someone to finish off some minor items and this will be a $22,000+ ride. Buy at the right price and you are in the money. A smart choice with all the work that has been completed by me since I owned it. Do the math, I had an original running list of $8000 parts and labor before I did the additional work listed above. Easily another $7500 in parts and labor since then. Need room in my garage for another car. Time to go now.
