ONE owner 1968 Corvette BB. Looking for someone to buy and/or restore our original owner, (with ALL the provenance), most powerful “factory” muscle car of the 20th century. (yes, we are aware of the 216 L88’s). Read our story “on line” @ Hemmings Muscle Machines Magazine Articles, Sept. 2018 Page 76 “From four doors to 454’s. If YOU were there in the early 70’s this is exactly what STREET dominance, over Hemi’s, L71/L89, Six Packs etc. etc. was all about. Thanks, Tim & Audrey tdevos111@comcast.net Not Bloomington, not Resto, but Period Correct and what Chevrolet “promised”.

1969 Convertible
Engine: 427, 65954+ Miles, Color: Daytona Yellow with Black interior.
lS THIS A VERY RARE BIG BLOCK?  YES!! IT’S ONE OF MAYBE 10 ORDERED IN 1969. Assembly required. IMPORTANT DETAILS (as provided by the owner):   Research indicates this 1969 Corvette convertible is one of maybe ten L71 (435hp) convertibles ordered in 1969 with all the options listed on its build sheet. Yes it is included with the sale plus considerably more.   This is a complete never-hit factory numbers matching original L71 (427c.i./435hp) Corvette convertible that has been disassembled in preparation for a frame off restoration. It is located in FLORIDA. Unfortunately the owner is not able to follow through with the restoration and now it can be your turn. You may choose to reassemble the Corvette as a very nice survivor or restore it to your preferred standard. Either way you will have the factory correct parts you need to successfully complete the project. Seldom will you find a Corvette like this where the owner has meticulously disassembled the car and organized all the parts for easy reference. Everything has been documented, labeled, packaged and properly stored. In addition, during his decades of ownership, the owner did purchase tens of thousands of dollars worth of new old stock (NOS) GM factory fresh parts. Many of these parts are rare and difficult to find.  And...if you did find them, just imagine the cost? I want to emphasize the owner states none of the parts are reproductions. ALL THE PARTS are either used or restored originals or new old stock.  In fact, it is entirely possible for you to reassemble the Corvette with the used original parts (and a few NOS) and sell off the new old stock parts. Your sale of NOS parts could be very rewarding (financially).   This is such a unique opportunity it is difficult to communicate its significance. DOCUMENTATION & FACTORY MARKINGS (as provided by the owner): The important documents that come with the Corvette are: Dealer invoice. Protect-o Plate. Original owner’s finance papers and mailing envelope. Owner history. Original as delivered glove box owner package. Labels. Tags. Owner history. And so much more. Photos were taken during the disassembly. You will see the original factory markings and body panels. Even the paint is original. RARE* COMBINATION OF OPTIONS as documented by the factory order sheet: • 19467 Base Corvette Convertible with Black Top • 984 Daytona Yellow • ZQ4 Black Vinyl Interior • C07 Auxiliary Hardtop • L71 Turbo-Jet 427 V8 (3/2 Barrel Carbs, 435hp) • G81 Positraction Axle 3.36 Ratio • F41 Special Front and Rear Heavy Duty Suspen. • N14 Side-Mount Exhaust System • M40 Turbo Hydra-Matic Automatic Transmission • U15 Speed Warning Indicator • UA6 Alarm System • N37 Tilt-Telescoping Steering Column • A31 Power Windows • J50 Power Brakes • N40 Power Steering • K66 Transistor Ignition • A01 Soft Ray Tinted Glass All Windows • U69 AM/FM Radio • PT7 White Stripe Tires *Owner’s research reveals maybe 10 or less L71 convertibles built in 1969 with all these options! Other parts included: • Engine hoist, • Engine stand, • Car body dolly (custom made), and much more. The complete package including all the NOS and used parts is offered to you at $77,990.  The owner has over $50,000 invested in the NOS parts alone.
