Here is your chance to Own a Running and Driving Project REAL DEAL 1967 L71 Big Block Corvette Convertible. Previous owner since 1984 and he has took the time to fully document EVERYTHING he did to it and as much of the cars history as he could the whole way back to 1972. This is a real big block 427/435hp car that he started a restoration on it in the late 90s early 00's and documented everything by writing it down in a log book, and taking pictures of as much as he could along the way, he also got the owner of the car from 1972 to sign & have a letter notarized stating the car had its original 427ci Tri-Power engine in it when he had it, all of which is pictured in the ad and included with the car. Under the hood this car does not have its original engine but it does have a Correctly Dated, Casted 427ci/435hp Engine with the original stamping still on front pad with the T1028JE Suffix and vin of car #: 7103735. So the engine the previous owner sourced for this car is from a 67 vette built 1,637 cars after it! This engine was rebuilt years ago and was stored properly and never started until we bought it! It was a rolling car when we purchased it, we had to go through and rebuild the carbs, install new brake calipers, master cylinder, plugs, wires, distributor, etc to make it run and drive...So currently this car will run and drive down the road, it stop, starts, and actually runs just like a Big Block 435hp 67 Vette is suppose to! Previous owner did have the body off the frame and did all the bushings, brake lines, fuel line, etc, everything he did is documented very well and can be read in the pictures included in this listing! This car has both tops and will still need a lot of work to be a done show car but you have a great base to start with and could paint it/do the interior and a few other odds n ends and have a show car ready for Next Years Car Show Season!
