This 1964 Corvette was the recipient of a full rotisserie restoration completed in 2015 with no expense spared. The car has been driven only test/break-in miles since the build was completed. The frame and body of this car were restored to better than factory standards and look as good as the top of the car!
This '64 Corvette was originally built on July7,1964 and was an original California car. It is finished in Ermine White (Code 936) over a white interior with red carpet (code 899). The car was delivered brand new to Jack Coyle Chevrolet in San Bernardino, CA. The car was NCRS verified in February of 2012 and comes with a reproduction of the original window sticker.
The car has a fuel-injected LS2 V8 out of a 2007 Corvette mated to a 5-speed manual Tremec transmission. The engine was purchased for this build from Dino's Corvette. As mentioned, this was a no expense-spared build including too many upgrades to list them all! The list includes a Vintage Air AC system (this is a factory air Corvette), Classic Car Audio sound system, Steeroid power steering system, Be Cool radiator, Dakota Digital Gauges in white with red lighting, reproduction knock off wheels on new radial tires, disc brake conversion, MSD Atomic fuel injection system, Edelbrock throttle body, Ididit steering column, MR headers, Canton wet sump oil pan, Premium Tru Trac serpentine system, many Billet Specialties items, Hydramax hydraulic clutch system, electric headlight motor conversion and so much more!
This incredible vehicle is one of the finest blends of new and old we’ve recently seen. The white paint finishes are excellent throughout, with no signs of fiberglass cracking or crazing. The car features very clean and correct chrome trim, the factory-style wheels, and a proper stance that no one will be able to identify as a modified vehicle. The contrast between the sleek Ermine White exterior and the red-trimmed interior is incredible, with a distinctive retro interior look featuring bright red carpets and dash mixed with new white upholstery and door panels. Similarly, the dash retains an accurate look, yet features all new modern gauges expertly installed in the classic layout. Even the vintage walnut steering wheel is in place, along with an updated clock centered in the dash, and all the chrome trim on the dash and the door panels is in exceptional condition.??Pop the hood and any doubt about upgrades quickly fades, as the modern aluminum block Corvette LS2 provides fully modern power and drivability in a beautiful vintage wrapper. All the engine components were likewise upgraded, including the stainless exhaust, and everything is linked to the ground by a modern five-speed manual transmission. The upgrades are immediately obvious both visually and when you stand on the accelerator, with the modern power disc brakes in play when that 400 horsepower is reeled back in.?
