1993 Corvette Convertible Classified Ad Details$9,949.00 A car you can show under 10K! Date Posted:03/19/2019 - Saint Augustine, FL
This car is one of 5,712 convertibles produced that year out of total production of 22058.This car was originally sold by East Hill Chevrolet , Roslyn Heights, NY in early 1993 to.I purchased the car from the original owner Mr. Roy Gardner in 2003. At the time he lived in Springfield, VA . The car had been used for most of its first 10 years as a daily “driver”. The car, when bought, was solid but was mostlyin need of clean up; its condition reflected the relatively heavy use it had. When purchased the car had 63,200 miles on the odometer.Shortly after purchase and to pass inspection ), a number of normal wear items were repaired/replaced including brakes, optispark, tires, battery. All AC Delco or GM parts were used except tires which were OEM Goodyear’s The car you see today is largely original. Over the past 16 years, parts replaced (see list on repair record sheet) with just a few exceptions were replaced with GM or AC parts most either salvaged original parts, new old stock GM parts, or new GM parts when available. All body parts are original, the car has NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT--NOBODY WORK and the PAINT IS ORIGINAL though there are a few small spots with minor surface stress lines on the front bumper and where minor “dings” were touched up; they are hard to see. This car can be considered a “survivor”. Since I purchased the car, it has been garage stored for all but 18 months. Cannot vouch for first 10 years but I believe it was garage kept for most but not all of that time considering lack of wear/rust the car has. Current mileage is 88,600 which reflects the light use It’s had since my purchase in 2003.
The only non OEM parts are: the canvas roof, replaced by Al Knoch interiors in 2014, the vanity mirrors (all originals I found were in worse shape than mine), the battery, floor mats and the tires ( Goodyear no longer makes this tire size). There are a few add on items such as a “spec plaque” (easily removed) on the console. While this car is not a “garage queen” it’s been showed at many car shows and has won a number of “best c 4” awards even recently.
The car is in excellent condition now and “everything works” on it including AC, all gauges, electronics!!
Included is extensive other documentation including the build sheet, sales window price sticker, original (unopened) owners’ manual, dealer sales brochure and CD, GM shop manuals and more. Also included is a high end (but worn) indoor outdoor car cover.
