This White Rocket is an exceptionally clean and well - maintained Texas car that is the last of the Corvette C4 series (previous owner was in California). Always kept in garage, not driven in rain and never wrecked. It is powered by the rare LT4 engine that puts out 330 HP and is a dream to drive. From its excellent condition to performance, there is nothing to dislike about this beauty.
The optional Selective Real Time Dampening System (a $1,695 option) uses computer input to analyze current ride data to calculate the damping mode for optimum control. It can then individually adjust special shock absorbers every 10 to 15 milliseconds. There are very few 1996’s on the market with this option since it was expensive at the time, but this car has it.
Being a final year C4, this car has perhaps the most refined interior available in a C4 and it has airbags. The seats are comfortable, and everything works as it should. It has COLD A/C. GM made a large number of changes in the C4 from previous series including a new chassis, modern styling, improved handling braking and suspension. This produced a car that is very quick and fun to drive. The C4 with the LT4 engine is currently undervalued, but the 1996 is the one to own out of this generation. This car is priced to sell now.
