The rear passenger side storage compartment was cracked and had a hole in it, so we purchased some fiberglass resin and started patching up the hole and the crack. Casey used to build rowing shells (boats), so we have an experienced fiberglass person to do the work. 
The crack is about 12 inches long, but with the right patching material, it is not a big deal to fix.
